What percentage of my readership is Orthodox? Please leave me a short comment, even if you are not a “commenter”: are you Orthodox?
Yes, no, sometimes, unsure?
Thanks.

Yes
Yep. More on the "modern" end of the spectrum than "yeshivish".
Ruchi, how many readers do you typically get these days?
Hard to say exactly but I get an average of 325 hits a day.
conservreformadox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
About 50 of your daily hits are probably me, repeatedly checking for new comments as a means of procrastination at work 🙂
Lol! You can subscribe to comments, you know (although you'd need to find a new procrastination method 🙂
If I comment and then refresh the page because people are commenting fast and furiously, does that count as one hit or two?
Each refresh counts as a new hit.
I'm Orthodox but I love to see how you phrase things and answer questions especially since I work in a field with no other Orthodox Jews and I get questions all the time about Jews and Judiasm
Non-jew here, don't comment, just love learning about different religions/cultures.
It's your call Ruchi. Growing, growing, growing.
I don't think a Rebbetzin could not be Orthodox CZ.
It's your call Ruchi. Growing, growing, growing.
Conservadox leaning toward modern Orthodox.
modern orthodox
Reform…but searching for more…but find some parts of the Torah that I cannot accept at all. Spiritually, my Orthodox friends are the ones I treasure.
Modern Orthodox
Mizrakhi
YES!
Rarely comment…converting Reform bc my husband is and it would be hard to go much past that w/o serious commitment from him, too
Conservative/Observant Egalitarian, married to an Orthodox rabbinical student. So we walk on both sides of that line, I guess.
If I had to label…I guess I would have to say Conservative with a liberal/egalitarian slant.
Nope, I am a Mormon.
I would love to tak to you, Miri. I was adopted into a mormon family and was told a few years back I was born Jewish.
If you guys want to be in touch, you can email me and I can connect you.
Ok, I don't have a problem with putting my email out here

Trying to be Orthodox from a Conservative family.
Yes (BT for one year so far!)
Yes
Just Jewish! My favorite label.
Yes I am
Modern Orthodox. I appreciate your blog – you and your readers offer different and intersting angles on all aspects of Jewish life. Thank you!
Not orthodox 🙂
Put me on the liberal side of the balance – we belong to both Reform and Conservative congregations. What a great discussion you lead, Ruchi!
Not Orthodox, but also not secular or non-observant (to harp on a personal pet peeve).
Orthodox (FFB) – and love the thought-provoking topics that are discussed!
Orthodox (FFB). I don't comment but admire your effort.
Yes, orthodox. Raised as a Conservative Jew.
Reform
Orthodox wannabee – thanks for this wonderful blog!
I guess you could call me that but I don't like labels
Yes, BT.
Orthodox since my midteens, still practicing, no longer a believer
Trying every day to stay orthodox, so yes, most of the time.
Yes and proud of it!! Fantastic blog!
Orthodox since 1996. Grew up Reform.
Conservative from birth – work in a synagogue, attend services at least once a week, often more.
Orthodox. But, since I hate capital-L-Labels, prefer "observant" which is a "label" and not a "Label". Make sense?
I read (and enjoy) your blog frequently – never commented. Not a fan of labels – would consider myself post denominational, liberally observant. If I had to slap on an "official" label, it would be conservative. Thank you for your insightful, thought provoking blog!

Reform
Orthodox. I was raised a Catholic, married a man from a secular Christian background. We converted reform then about 10 years later had a kosher conversion. whew!
just a year into my journey, at the age of 57, and still finding my path…..I would say I am a bit of everything right now, and finding where I fit – but not sure if I am a BT, or what….just enjoying learning and growing and feeling and above all knowing I finally fit….

Yes—it will be 17 years this Pesach!
Reform with O family members
Christian here…
I affiliate Orthodox, though I tend to use the phrase 'traditionally observant' outside the community.
First time commenting. Convert to Reform with an Orthodox Soul. Love your blog.
really interesting reply…..I'm still finding where I belong: liked that expression 'Convert to Reform with an Orthodox soul'…..feels something similar for me …

Thank you so much to all those who have responded, especially if it's your first comment here! And thank you to all those of you who have added such kind feedback here. That means a lot to me!
As of this writing, 52% of you identify Orthodox. 20% are not Orthodox, but would like to be more Orthodox, and/or are on a path to do so. 20% are not Orthodox. 8% are not Jewish.
Conservative and learning. Trying to add a little at a time.
yes
Modern Charedie haha lovin it ! <3
Nope. I'm trying to be on a path to greater observance, but I'm not philosophically orthodox, so that's not where I'm planning to end up.

Egalitarian, otherwise traditionally observant. Belong to a Conservative shul, daven in many places.
no, I'm Reconstructionist but fascinated by Orthodoxy after a few years living in Brooklyn. Also I'm a Cleveland (well Akron) native so I appreciate that aspect of your blog…
Orthodox, Chabad
I'm Conservative but moving toward Modern Orthodoxy.
Yes
Christian–Mormon but I have heavy respect for the Ortho crowd. I was introduced to Ortho when I moved to Silver Spring, MD and worked in an apartment building. All these people wanted the lower floors, stood outside on Saturday until someone opened the electric doors and didn't want their kitchens cleaned when they moved in. I was intrigued and made many friends who didn't mind all my questions.
Kathryn
I like to think I am conservative. I would like to be conservadox/modern orthodox one day. As someone else above said- i'm learning and adding a bit at a time.
